Harrigan, Maureen Greer Lee

Born in Harris village, Montserrat, Maureen acquired her early education at St. Georges Primary and at the Montserrat Secondary School.   She furthered her education  in the U.S. at  Monroe College, Keiser University, and Stratford School of Natural Health.  Her passion for cultural expression was ignited during her childhood years by the Emerald Community Singers, Willy Kinni Dancers, the masquerades, and theatrical performances at the University Centre.  She now works throughout the U.S. and Caribbean as a performance poet,  storyteller and natural health consultant.  Maureen is also the Founder and Director of the Sankofa Healing Garden in Barbuda.
